A53PD - can you leave it unlocked from the outside if you choose?

Or does it always stay locked from the outside. I need a doorknob that stays unlocked from the inside at all times but with the option of locking/unlocking the outside by a button or thumbturn on the inside xxxx .

The A53PD does allow you to leave the door unlocked from the inside (for ease of exit) and gives you the option, via the inside button turn/push, to lock the outside xxxx when needed. This ensures it remains unlocked for those inside, while maintaining security against entry from the outside until disengaged.
