Is this Fob already programmed to work upon receiving?

I would like to know if I have to take this to a locksmith or dealer to have it programmed or is the fob already programmed to work with my Chevrolet Equinox 2024 upon receiving?

This key fob is not pre-programmed. It will need to be programmed to your vehicle before it can work.
