What do you mean about "remote key fob- non chips? Does the non chips key work on the car? Does the remote work?

My questions is if I purchased the remote key fob-non chips, does it work on the car if cut and program it? What is the different between non chips and chips key? I knew as far as one key carried a computer chips and the other does not.

We are glad you asked! According to our technical sources, the Scion XB does not have a chip in the key. Therefore, the fobs must be programmed by a professional locksmith.
